DM was fortunate enough to get us passes to the most elusive club in Arizona - HAVASUPAI! I've been waiting for this trip for the last few months, to say the least. I was so excited that I literally linked my out of office message (internal only, obviously) to this:
Clearly no one saw it, but at least I put it out into the world that I was going to have a good time!
And a good time I had.

FRIDAY
We spent Friday coordinating and driving. Delayed flights, work emergencies, and traffic made for a late start, and instead of being able to explore the caves in AZ, we checked in late to our hotel, repacked, and slept. Next time, we leave at the ass crack of dawn! Those caverns are just waiting to be explored.
SATURDAY
We stayed at the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn, which was an hour away from the trailhead. At 4am, we got up, drove to the trailhead, and met the rest of our party to begin the weekend!
We hiked 8 miles to the Supai Village, then a few more to get to Navajo Falls (where I jumped off my first rock!) and onward to Havasu Falls. Quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've seen.
We napped, we tanned, and we let the day get away from us before we went to Mooney Falls.
We climbed down a waterfall to see another waterfall! It was amazing.
Unfortunately, the weather predicted rain, so we decided to head back in order to avoid muddy roads on the way back.
Total mileage for the day: 18 Miles
SUNDAY
When we told D we wanted to sleep in, he said "ok!", but what he really meant was that we'd be up and out by 8am. We had a full day ahead of us! We went back to Mooney Falls, but only as a pathway to get to Beaver Falls. The hike was amazing. The best part? IT WAS ALL FLAT!

Jurassic views. And of course... CLIFF JUMPING!
We made the trek back with room to watch the sun set.

MONDAY
A 4am call time meant we could chase the sunrise while we made the way back up and out of the canyon. In the darkness, we got turned around a little, but we managed to see some headlamps walking in our direction on the way up.
We finished the hike around 8am. A beautiful view for the end of a beautiful trip.
Total mileage for the trip: 41 Miles
15/10 would do it again.
